The Consulate, a newly formed but as of yet unregistered Guild within Guild Wars itself, has launched it's forums, and is accepting applications for membership. Unlike many other guilds where the focus is primarily on PvP and PvE play, The Consulate will work to encourage people to not only improve their networking skills within the game, an aspect that this ground-breaking type of MMORPG is requiring off all of us, but also to provide a place where people can turn to if you ever need help forming parties for missions, want an organized place to buy or sell your items, if you're stuck in a mission and just need that extra push in the right direction, etc.

As we continue to try and build up a solid core of players before the upcoming BWE, there are no restrictions on applying to become a member; simply stop by our website, located at http://consulate.8.forumer.com/, fill out the registration form, and our Administrators will activate your account as soon as they possibly can. It didn't look like there was an "Edit" button for me to fix my post up, otherwise I'd just do that, but I had thought of something that I wanted to clarify...

PvP and GvG play will not be discouraged by the Guild, it's just not our main focus. This means that even as early as this next BWE we could have GvG play up and running, dependent on level of interest and once activity within the guild begins to rise.

P.S. For some reason on the initial post, I have no "edit" button, only the "reply" button. But now I have both buttons on this post. Odd...?

You only have the "Edit" button for an hour after the original post ;) In the future, we can add stuff to posts if you want. just PM us the info and we can edit your post to display it.

Just a reminder that, with the BWE less than a week away, The Consulate is still accepting any and all applicants who have even a slight interest in joining our Guild. We're especially interested in trying to put together a strong team for GvG play, both as a means of getting people to know each other and to figure out in which direction we wish to take as it pertains to GvG, PvE, and PvP play.

Keep in mind that, as our Guild is still fairly small, anybody joining now who shows a willingness to be active and help with overall Guild activity will practically be guaranteed a high-ranking position as our ranks continue to grow and we become more competitive with the other Guilds out there.
