Jeff Strain mentioned in the interview with Jeux Online that we have to select a homeworld during the character creation. The question is then if we select different homeworlds, i.e. US, Europe, etc... as we create our character what would happen when we play PVE. Since the team who won the WaW will have all the special missions, skills, etc...available to that homeworld then the members belonged to different worlds can't join in? Or the guild itself will dictate the actual homeworld and overrule the members' homeworld? It'll be interesting to see how this works.

Homeworld Rocked! I loved the 3D space combat .... oh wait... umm...

yeah...

Well remeber it should still be possible to skip from one homeworld to another so it might be possible to actually move to an international region of the current winners and 'sneak' in to the special area?

I don't believe so. If ANet allows to switch homeworld on the fly like that then everyone always switch to the winning team, i.e. no one left in the other worlds for WaW :D . To switch homeworld, you may have to delete all your characters and recreate them (I think). By the way, I played homeworld too :) .

The main question on my mind is will it make that much of a difference to our guild SKILL wise? you've already said that whichever region reigns gets control of certain area's and skills. Can these skills still be made into a charm/ring and be transfered to charecters who are out of that region?
Also is it yet entirely known if you can jump from region to region? if not are we all planning on creating our charecters in the same region (for PvE and PvP purposes?) or will it not really make much of a difference?
i just don't want to be isolated from half or more of the guild PvE wise due to the small amount of us europeans within the guild.

I am not familiar with all this, but will look into it and see what details I can come up with. I have heard some world stuff but not sure what any of that is. As I recall, they said one of the features of the game was it was not going to be split up into realms of any type.
