Total game freeze after loading

I have a Toshiba A70 laptop with a Radeon 9000 IGP.

When I load the game I get the "Downloading...Decompressing...Loading" screen and then total system lockup (once the bar is complete)

I've tried all known counter-measures (upgrading drivers/BIOS/adjusting settings both in-game and out).

No Luck

Me and my dad both have toshibas and neither of us can log in to guild wars. we get past the choose your character page but once we get to where you are decompressing the program quits responding.

Same thing happens to me! I am not running this on a laptop but a hardcore desktop. It occurs only after I have had the PC on for a few hours. Once I reboot, everything works great for another few hours.

Very odd problem, hope it is not SLI related.

My guess: Its a problem with Graphics/DirectX

I managed to get GW "running" on an Q10 Laptop from Samsung (not playable! slow...), but I have now way on getting the configuration. It does run on Laptops however.
