the new idea of being auto resurected while dying in explorable areas is interesting, and can make long walks much less frustrating.

however on numerous occasions, after i died, i was unable to move, frequently it appeared that there was a thin layer of water directly over my head.

This happened numerous times in numerous places, some that i can remember are:
Snow Ettin Cave (has been renamed i forgot what)
when i died here me and my hench were standing in each other on top of a mountain unable to move.
Sanctum Cay: a few times i respawned normally, than another time i got respawned north east of fishermans haven in an empty area, with the seemingly ceiling of water above me.

so i hope you guys look into these problems, they were very unisolated.

The only problem I had with the resurrection platforms was when they were placed too close to a group of bad guys, (like the one just outside of Lion's Arch.) Respawning just to get pounded to death right on the platform was kinda frustrating.

Though I did have a similar problem elsewhere with henchmen standing too close and thus making it impossible to move.

I too encountered problems with automatic resurrection in explorable areas. Twice, the elementalist henchman (Orion whatshisname) was not killed when our party was wiped out. He remained in some sort of limbo state, at 100% health and immobile, and there were graphics glitches when I attempted to switch my viewpoint to his position. Because he was still alive, the automatic resurrection did not occur, and I had to give up and return to my starting location.

I've also run into situations where I got stuck in a nook or cranny and couldn't back out due to henchmen or pets in the way behind me. Fortunately, after a few minutes of struggling, I worked my way loose. But it seems likely that one could get stuck for a long time in these situations.

Fixing these bugs would be the ideal solution, but in the meantime I suggest ArenaNet add a "resign" feature that lets the team leader kill everyone in his or her party simultaneously, thus causing the party to reappear on the resurrection platform (with a death penalty, of course) so that they can continue their adventures.

That's wierd, I had that same thing happen with the same NPC on the last night of the BWE. My party was wiped out except for henchman Orion, who outran the bad guys and then just stood there behind a post, immobile.

Strange that I too had a problem with this same character

It seemed "graphically" that Orion walked through a mountain and was stuck there while the rest of the party had been killed, therefore the adventure was over

When I switched to his view and rotated it around, I could see the side of a mountain on one side, and some sort of water under him, and he was just stuck in there casting spells. This was in the exporable area near the Monk Refuge (or whatever it's called) in the mountains near Bloodstone Fen.

Same thing happened to me in Sanctum Cay explore area, only, it was the monk who got stuck in the mountains. I also encoutnered the other bug mentioned here: our entire team spawned in the exact same spot and nobody was able to move. We had to use the map to teleport to the town.

oh ya, I had a bunch of problems when I had a large group going through "griffin's pass". We all died and the stupid henchman somehow got himself in a glitch and could not die!!!!!!!!!! So we all had to go back and start over! how frustrating is that?

Me and a guildmate encountered a problem with the Ranger henchgirl and the Warrior. Never had any problems with the Elly surprisingly enough. In Majesty's Rest Our party of 2+3 of the henchies died, except the Ranger, who kept fighting...yet the "Time Until Ressurected" counter was counting down while the Ranger was still alive(barely) and fighting. Sure enough we would ressurect and the Ranger would die 3 seconds later back were we died. Then our overzealous(read:stupid) monk hench would run ahead of the group to the rangers rescue...and her own quick demise....very frustrating. Another time right outside Majesty's Rest in the Sage Lands our group was demolished by a Thorn Devourer ambush, and when we ressurected, the Warrior was INSIDE the mountain by the rez platform...minus one tank until we find an area gate...

Really hope alot of these little bugs will be fixed next Beta. They don't break the game, but they can be very frustrating.
