(Yet another) Video of the Ending...

Hey folks,

I've got a two-part series of videos from the end of the beta event last night. I managed to leave my fraps on for the entire last hour (thank goodness for the spare hard drive) and caught everything happening in Lion's Arch District 2. So if you were in that district, you might see yourself in one of the two (or both, haha) movies.

The first one up is the huge boat party, followed by the appearance of the Garden Gnomes that say Ni! (haha). I've also made it in a music video format, which I think you'll like (and find comic).

The second one won't be up till really late tonight after I'm off of work, and will contain the money from heaven, fireworks, and the giant worms. I'll be posting that in this same thread tomorrow morning.

sweet, downloading now, i couldnt be there simply because i couldnt hold myself to play any longer, (ok, i couldnt stay awake any more) .. i couldve played the game for 250 straight hours non stop if i knew i had a key, and had that long, will DEF be getting the game when it hits shelves because its my newwwww love, and that glowy effect makes me love everything lol

I knew those quotes seemed familiar. I am so in that movie ;) at ~0:28 seconds you see a little ele in the left, her cape just fluttered like she just got done moving. Thats me ;) And while you are dancing on the boat you can see several people who were dancing with us saying that GWO owns and such ;) I even saw where Chantal was jumping ;)

You probably need to get the Xvid codec to view the video, a link to it's website was posted above.

nice video but it's a shame you didn't have the WURM attack and fireworks in there :)

The only thing that annoyed me a bit was interlacing (scanning lines), you can render it without them you know ;) Another tip is to crop the movie smaller so you won't get black space it just makes the file bigger without any real benefits IMO...

The rest of the stuff will be in a second video. Wouldn't be appropriate to throw it in with the Love Shack song, would ruin the feeling, lol.

Wow... Now I see why I shouldn't have woken up at 3am to play the beta friday Morning, slept 2 hours, played all saturday, slept 3 hours, and played all Sunday. I really wish i could have stayed awake for that, looked amazing. At least I got to talk to Gaile for a moment in Lion's Arch. All the more reason to love ArenaNet...

i am the black necro with the silver scars. I come in about 2:53 and then start to play drums in line with other necros, then it switches screens. I can still be seen dancing in the background for most of the video though.

same story here, i had work at 6 am, and 3 hours of sleep would have completely wasted me.

I sure arenanet will give us some EXCELLENT holiday events. maybe fireworks on the 4th of july, pumpkins on halloween and such. so this won't be the last of it.

At the end of the Beta weekend ArenaNet gave us a suprise...literally. Huge presents dropped down and then when they opened up the gnomes came out and then exploded killing everyone around them. WE all rezed then it started raining gold, then the sky darkened and fireworks went off, then the giant worms came out and started killing everyone again(I actually survived the worms and never died), and then it all ended.

Thanks for posting them, I was one who got bounced off just as the box of gnomes opened around me and a friend and wasn't able to return. I'm pretty much grabbing all the clips I can find so I can see it from as many perspectives/places as possible.
