View Full Version : How to Report Things to ArenaNet

If you are wondering if we will continue to have the Official Bugs Threads, now that the game is live, well, no, we won't. There is still a way to report bug, glitches and even exploits and cheats, and it's as close as www.guildwars.com. Simply click the Support button on the site, and submit a "ticket" through our Knowledge Base. The search engine will give you a few suggested responses, but if none of them fit, go ahead and "Ask a Question" and our Support Team will get the report right away and tend to it as soon as possible. We have people working round the clock to help out with problems, and of course we're always doing our best to answer your questions. Don't forget our Online Manual, www.guildwars.com/manual, and use the Knowledge Base for questions and reports.

playing guildwars type (without quotes) "/bug theres a roach in my rangers boots thats talking to me in spanish, even tho im in the english servers"

should send a bug to AN ...

So ehm, "ask a question" is the same as "report a bug"?
Of course i can always ask "please would you fix this bug?"

Since more 24 hours i made mi tiket. Many automatic answer. Not solution. I can't play the game what i pay for. It is not my ISP, it is the game.

What are you going to say to the people who are changing ISP, to get the same problem with another.

¿Are ArenaNet wanting to sell more games this way? hey!!!! solution now to Err=7 when escenary change.

The Aftershock skill is not worded correctly but the damage given is correct.

It reads, "Adjacent foes are struck for X damage. Knocked down foes are struck for X additional damage."

Based on its current script, it should bypass armor. It should read, "...struck for X earth damage."

Gail says '/bug is not working , you have to write support'

My concern is, if this is true, why is the /bug command still in the game?
I personnally /bug'd quite a few problems during the Factions Beta.

Maybe im dumb, but is there any way to report a glitch bug etc now? I cant find anything in 'support' on official website, and typing /bug does not give any msg in return so might not work.

Seems like Anet shielded themselves with the release of Factions? Or?

I was trying to report a bug on the pre-order weapons being unmoddable as of just recently. I filled out the required fields in the 'Ask a question' section only to be taken to a second page where they required me to create an account. I do not want to, nor do I feel it should be mandatory to do so just to report a bug. Seems a bit heavy handed to me.

I'm sure most of us have had problems finding GW\NCSoft\ANet Support (I sure have). The URL below links directly to the Ask a Question page for this sort of thing. You'll need to create an account if you haven't already done so and follow the directions\fill in the blanks ... pretty straightforward for the most part.
