Has anyone seen a boss use hundred blades?

I've got one more mission before I move on to fire island, and I still haven't found Hundred Blades (elite) on any boss. I might have seen it on some very early boss, but I can't remember where at all. If anyone has seen it, it would be great to get some information.

I believe it's on a Charr boss by Piken Square. Make sure there's more than 1 person, otherwise he won't use it.

Alright, I did find a boss in that zone (but not to close to Piken) but hes not static and I also didn't have a 2nd person. But he was a sword warrior so I'll test him first and then look around Piken if if its not the right one.

Well this may not be much help, but I know Hundred Blades can be found on a boss in Post-Searing Asclon. Though I don't remember exectly where I got it. I belive it was from the Great Wall Mission...

And since I ran that mission only once, I don't know if that guy was static or rare.

After I read this thread I went to Piken square and took with me 2 hench, went to the bridge thats (quite) near piken square and found the boss, he used hundred blade and now I have it :)

i tried to get 100 blades from piken square but it said i already had it, and i couldnt see it inmy list though. Anyone know why i cant use?

You probably hit the Signet of Capture on another skill that you already have.

Is it the guy right before the bridge? Or the guy a little bit after the bridge (down the path)? I can't get it from either. :(

i also went to the bridge with 3 henchmen but the boss uses bow (ranger) so i cant capture the skill since i'm a Warrior. Can you be more specific on which bridge? the one i went to is just a bit west of piken (on the big map view), is this the right one? by chance u remember the name of the boss?

Exactly, I went there, but tere was only a Elementalist boss at that bridge :/

Edit: Err ok, after going forth n back to the bridge Ive encountered ranger, elementalist, monk and necro bosses... but no warrior, crap >_<

I think that "undead prince rurik" uses it, u have to kill him in the 4. mission on fire island.

anyway to increase the chance of encounter the charr boss. took me like 12 times to encounter him. Anyoying when keeping going back and forth. Anyway just encountered him and he used the hundredblades skill and i used the signet of capture but it doesnt do it. i was like wtf? it didnt give me any error like already have the skill or not same profession. The signet went through and it have that grey recharge time once it done, nothing happen. The signet still there and i didnt learned the skill. I'm level 16 warrior/necro. Are there any other requirement that ineed to meet before i can actually capture skills? One thing though, when i see the hundred blade skill under his name i click the capture right away, but then after that he use healing signet could it be that i need to have him use that skill long enough to capture it?

I don't think there is a way to make him pop as the Warrior boss more often, but you can spot his class before you fight him (Warrior is yellow). If it wasn't yellow I didn't even bother, just warp back to Piken.

I'm 16 W/N and I took just a Monk NPC with me, killed everything up to there and got him to attack. Got in between him and the Monk NPC, and he started attacking me. The Monk would damage him a little but he would just signet back up, I didn't attack him at all, just let him hit me (2-3 points a hit tops).

Once he used the skill I hit the Signet and it said "Capturing Hundred Blades". It took a couple of seconds to work, I imagine if you watch the bar and it says something else then you can move and interrupt the signet.

Such an amazing skill for PvE...

I believe after the latest May 11th update, things have been changed.
He never uses the Hundred Blades skills. I've encountered him four times today to capture the skill. He never used it.

Yes...he...never...uses...it ( I tried for 20 minutes with another wa/mo and a hench....perfect formation for an adjacent attack, but nothing nothing oh oh nothing =(.

Once you see he has used the skill quickly hit the capture signet. I didn't do it fast enough the first time and got a shield skill. Now he is not always at the bridge there are three places in the Breach were he could be. The first is when you enter the breach (from old ascalon instead of going down the stairs you go the left and cross the bridge. Second is after you go down the stairs from the breach quest. Go LEFT you will see a path, up there is where another Charr boss spawns. Then the third is the bridge near piken. He can be at any one of them. So check each one. You have to be fast and make sure your buddies don't kill him before you can capture it. Click him and then move so you don't attack. You do however have to be close to your buddy so he uses the attack (shoulder to shoulder.)

Uhhh, we wailed on him for a good ten minutes and all he used was h ealing signet and wild blow. Even left him an overseer to make sure he didn't die! Oh well Ill keep on trying but this is seriously lame...

i captured b4 may 11 so i dont know what changes. You might want to have u and ur buddy to stand close to him. If he feel a thread cuz a few ppl surround him then he will use it. make sure you prepare to capture cuz for me he use healing signet right after he use hundred blades. Good luck

You have to be VERY close to each other. VERY close. I did it with just me, thom, and healer. It took me longer then it should have because when I did it the first time I captured a shield skill. Also, it is VERY fast, He had already done it to me twice before I realized he had used it.

I'm aware of that. That particular warrior boss's name is Gorgaan Hatemonger.
However, I still believe it was the case before the update/patch. I, and my party could never get him to use the skill.

Just a further update :
I've been browsing through some of Korean Guild Wars fansites/forums, and they also seem to acknowledge that after May 11th update, many locations/bosses for elite skills have been changed.

So, you can't get Hundred Blades from that boss (Gorgaan Hatemonger) anymore... and my findings/experience confirms this too.
