I have recently bought the Guild Wars Collectors Edition Box Set and found that the head set that comes with it is way too small for the average person and they are not adjustable. I have sent the guild wars tech support this problem to see if they would be releasing a bigger version of them or possibly an adjustable one. There response states that I should post this issue in the forums to see how many people are affected by this. Thanks for any of your responses to this issue.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am wondering if there will be a re-issue of different sizes of the headphones that came with the collector’s edition. The one that come in the box are way to small for me to use and are not adjustable. They seem to not fit the majority of the people I know who play this game.

Hello ####,
At this time, there are no plans to release the headphones included in out Collector's Edition in different sizes. If this is something you believe is affecting a large number of people, we encourage you to consider posting your suggestions on one of many of the Guild Wars Fansite message boards. A compiled list can be found here (http://guildwars.com/community/default.html). By posting on one of these message boards, other players can comment on your concerns, and Development Team members are able to catch up on what the community wants to see in Guild Wars. Fansite forums make it easy and efficient for us to learn from those playing the game.

Thank you for your efforts in assisting us to create the best gaming experience possible.

The Guild Wars Support Team

I have a rather long head and it fits me just fine. I am wondering if perhaps you are trying to fit the round bar over your head and not around the back of your neck. To wear these headsets correctly, you loop the earpieces over the ears and the round bar sits behind the head at the neck.

Hope that helps

Actually i think just the opposite. I think their to big! But maybe i have a small head i dunno. :music:

The only negative thing about them that i can think besides that they arenīt adjustable in size would be that my ears sometimes hurt as hell after taking them off, not in the way that iīve had to much volume bit like on the outside/upper side of my ears. But it could be and i suspect it to be because i wear glasses.

It's just what happens with that style of headphone. I have a set of the over-the-ear-and-behind-the-neck phones, and they hurt my ears after a while. It's inevitable. When I'm on the computer, I use a nice big set of plush ones (cost 100 bucks though). Sound's great.

My sentiments exactly (I wear glasses too). I was assuming that whoever designed that headset should have made it adjustable but he didn't...cos I was trying to readjust it...Obviously they did not test the product for comfort very well. lol

I read some reviews of this headset before i got CE and they were below average so I did not expect much anyways.

That's Logitech for you. If you want a good headset you should look into something by a specialist company like Plantronics. Far as I'm concerned the ones that came with the CE are just a nice trinket, not really a useful item.

You think THESE type are uncomfortable? Use a pair of clip on headphones that clip to the ears for more than 3 minutes

If I were a mean SOB, I'd say your heads too big, but I'll refrain from saying it :howdy:

The street-style behind the head headphones, from the ones I've owned, and the ones I've seen in store, are all about the size of the GW CE ones, so I doubt you'll ever see ones that are bigger.

I don't know why Logitech chose to use the behind-the-head style headphones (fashion...?!?), but I totally agree that it was a poor choice, since if your heads too small, or too big, it either just doesn't fit at all, or it fits very poorly, hurting your ears.

Another problem with the hook-on-the-ear headphones is the fact people with glasses (like myself), have another thing that gets clipped to behind their ears. And it becomes a major nusiance, lol.

Ah well, I was pretty happy with the art book, and the headphones fit me well, so I'm not complaining about the CE. (and the Divine Aura... well, whatever... wasn't expecting much from it anyways).

Same here.. shrink your darn heads.. or make them grow, either way would be fine.
