Is this game still in Beta stage? and...

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this game and I am really excited to try! :D I am just wondering if this game is still in Beta version? If so, will there be a wipe after the Beta test is done?? :(

And I am asking a controversial question --- which class is generally more powerful in PvP? Are Warrior/Nacromancer and Elementalist/Nacromancer good? How about Ranger?

By the way, I am not quite sure the role of Mesmer in a party? It seems they are quite weak. Sorry I asked so many noob questions. I hope somebody can help me out. Thanks so much and have a great weekend! ;)

This is release.
All classes are equal, everything can be good if u want it to be be. Mesmers are really good at shutting down casters.

well idd release is there and i bought the game yesterday

but as far i heard from my guild members there not realy "the best" pvp char as youre pvp build is mainly focused on one type of char as the mesmer is very good againste caster i mainly play pve and noticed that already with my elemantist/mesmer with good comb of spells it can be good:)
