Elemental/Ranger

Hi guys. Just got GW today and still trying to figure out what exactly is going on lol. I really want to go ele/ranger but I really have no idea as as builds are concerned. I dont wanna go the pet route, so can people suggest some builds? Im going to go fire as an elementalist.

Also, if anyone wants to play with me in game I havent played with anyone yet. Im only level 2 or 3 or so, my in game name is Banana Ripper. Maybe give me some helpful hints.

Yeah we're a dying breed the Elementalist ranger. Not many people choose it because ranger marksman skills are pretty powerful, but.. I use my ranger powers directed towards my pet as a tank. Its easier to have everyone grouped on your pet but still be able to use elementalist only powers.
