Earlier today I was talking with a few guildies who lost (not just lost, but got annhilated) in a GvG to a team of trappers and runners. Apparently, they would set traps and lure them into them by running. Sounds stupid but apparently it was very effective considering that my guild is fairly experienced and smart players. Sooooo the point of this thread is to maybe suggest a build that can set traps and run to capture flags, even weave around the enemy to buy time to ressurect. How could I make one?

Pretty easy i guess. Ranger Monk.... full wilderness and protection with whatever left in the expertise. the wilderness line has the great avoid skills, and the traps, and the protection enchantments that reduce damage or make you block = sexy. Now you wouldnt do to much damage, if a smart mage decides to not follow behind you and hit the traps and just nuke you from afar, then im not sure what you could do. but that would be the best template for the running man for placing traps and surviving to res
One thing about traps. Most of them are easlily interupted. Attack them while they are setting them. If you know they have set traps, send one person in to set them off with mending on them or some other enchantment. All trappers should be not hard to defeat. I can understand if you are not familiar with traps and such, but I bet it won't happen again to your guild.
