Sorry if this has been asked before but I did a search and couldn't come up with anything. Anyways, what are the differences between the Long Bows, Short Bows, Recurve Bow, Dead Bow, etc. Besides for looks, I know there is a difference in firing rates, but what about the distances, etc. Thanks in advance for any help provided.

There is a difference in range. There's a chart around here somewhere that explains it...don't remember where though.

yea, I was just about to ask this question too. I notice range, attack speed and stuff, but it would be cool if I could get an exact thing... you know >_> like a chart =.=

He's some information someone hooked me up with..

This stuff is very VERY hard to find so you might want to write this down or copy it to a notepad

Flatbow 2.0 seconds 100' 1.0 seconds
Half Moon 2.0 seconds 70' 0.65 seconds
Horn Bow 2.7 seconds 80' 0.75 seconds
Ivory Bow 2.7 seconds 80' 0.75 seconds
Longbow 2.5 seconds 100' 0.75 seconds
Recurve 2.5 seconds 80' 0.5 seconds
Shortbow 2.0 seconds 70' 0.65 seconds

What do the 'X seconds' mean? The first is probably the time for 1 attack, but what about the second one after the range?

Arrow flight time I'd wager.

Thanks for the info, it's very much appreciated. Looks like I'd want the longbow or recurve bow as distance is my game. I've noticed with the longbow, I can fire arrows drastically further than mages casting their spells. That means the first ones to die are fighters, then mages, then me :) I've noticed quite often that I'm the last one to be alive purely because of distance. I now have an Ascalon Bow and noticed the distance was about as long as the longbow. Don't quote me on that though.

The long bow has a farther range than ascalon, or at least it seems that way. Especially when going off cliffs or hills.

Though, I've noticed that thing about team play. I'm always the last to die. Well, most of the time, the one that nevers dies. I'm so far away from the enemy that I can just disengage and bravely run away, away. And then, since I'm a nice guy I just go back and rez them.
