Questions about items.

Hello all, I brought GW on saturday, must say i am very impressed, i'm reletavly new to MMORPGs after playing FFXI for a month and getting bored.

I have been plaing with a War/Mes and am about lvl 10. I have joined a guild of people who are all new to the game... so we are having difficulty answering each others questions.

So here are mine if anyone can help...

1) What do runes do? do you keep them in your inventory or something to gain the bonuses?

2) How can I increase the amount of energy, I only have 20 (+1 from gladiators helm)?

3) I have looked on the internet and there only appears to be a few types of armour.... is this the case? I was hoping on lots of variation (i played dii for 4 years)

4) oh and how do you get a masters salvage kit and capture signet?

1. Runes can be put in your armor to gain the bonus which is described in the text on the item.
2. As a Warrior, either through Gladiators Armour or by holding a focus in your off-hand.
3. Don't know how many armours there are, but I think the listing comes close to the actual number. Remember however, armour can be dyed for that special look.
4. Expert Salvage Kits can be first bought at Yak's Bend. For SoC, I haven't really been looking out for it, but atleast you can buy it at the Henge of Denravi. However, it may be earlier, I don't know.

What guild are you from? I am new at this as well (R/Mo10) and want to try a to hang with a few different guild members (in quest an such) before I make any decisions (I play with two others as well W/R11 & W/R9)
