I've heard the major necro strategy is to put alot of life sacrificing skills in you bar. When he uses them hit him with something nasty. That and for monks you can put a bunch of maintainable enchants on your bar that are completely useless.

ok my basic belief is you take off your healing spells and equip faitheartedness.... this will slow his attack speed... hit him wiht it right off the bat... when you do that it should get you ahead in the race for death....

i took everything off the bar except healing breeze, which he doesnt seem to use, and..the name eludes me , but the enchantment where damage is returned to him everytime he hits you.

just wand him and keep breeze up its a breeze :happy14:

Reversal of Fortune may work well also! :happy34:

Additionally, I would try stocking up on life sacing skills and just beat him down with your wand dmg and deathly swarm.

What I did was cast Retribution and Live Vicariously and Healing Breeze right JUST right before I enter the arena. Once I got in, I used Symbol of Wrath as soon as I could.. right after Symbol of Wrath expired, I casted Pacifism and casted Healing Breeze again on myself. Then I got lucky and finished him off with a battle of HP.

With Scourge healing and your normal heal spells you will decimate him - less then 10 seconds.

This worked great. Took 2-3 times to get it right but my lvl 18 monk beat my mirror using the skills in the order as you described...
