Scars/Tattoos

I've been browsing these boards and have seen several mentions of the above (including the ability to dye them), but I was wondering if they're available to all classes - I'm a R/E and I haven't seen anyone offering tattoos so I'm presuming that they're not available to my class...Are scars picked up in battle a la 'Fable'?

I just like the customisation aspects that these would bring to my character..

Not sure about scars, but I believe tattoos are only available to monks.

Scars and Tatoos are armours for certain classes. Monks can have Tattoos and Necromancers can have Scar Patterns.

Just think of them as armour, because that's what they are. It's just different aesthetics.
