I was wondering what is better, necro as primary or elementalist?
I haven't played the game yet, so I dont know how good soulreaping is, that is, if i'll be attacked more often by 1 monster, or many monsters. What I really want to know is if Soulreaping is better than aura of restoration, I like aura of rest. but I feel I'm going to need the energy gain. I will be a death magic/blood magic necro, with life leeching and no minions (maybe one to leech life from it with taste of death)

Soul Reaping in PvE is very good because you do get attacked by mobs rather than single monsters, however in PvP it is not quite as good.

You can still have Aura of Restoration from a secondary Elementalist but it just wont be as good because you can't improve it with attributes in Energy Storage.

PvE: Necro Primary - Soul Reaping works effectively here, killing masses of monsters so you get quite a lot of mana.

PvP: Elementalist Primary - Energy Storage lets you use defensive spells like Aura of Restoration, and large mana tanks allow you to "Spell Dump" more effectively.
