Installation question

When installing the game, I noticed there was a little bar connecting to arena.net (I think, might have been something else) before it asked me for the installation directory. What was that? I hope it wasn't something that restricted my installation to one computer or something.... didn't ask me for a CD key either (couldn't find one).

the initial connection thing is looking for updates to the client software. your cd-key is associated with your ACCOUNT, not your installation. you will have to enter one at some point before you can play.

you can have GW installed on as many computers as you want, and you can play on any account from any one of them, but only one person can play on a single account at a time, and each account needs a unique cd-key entered for it.
