Ranger Armor

I'm currently a 17 R/W and I'm looking to find the best armor set to buy so I can just blow all my money on it and be done with it. (and blow all my runes :p)

I keep hearing that the 70 armor Druid set is not in the same place as it was in the beta, but I haven't heard if it was taken out at all. Anyone have any insight as to what happened?

Well, I'm not QUITE at the end of the game yet (about to do desert missions I think), but I can at least offer to you the fact that you can remove runes with an expert salvage kit, and while occassionally the runes might get destroyed, I think it has a pretty good success rate.
