Armor Choice

I'm a W/Mo ( yes i kno it's generic ) and I currently have the set of ascalon armor (the 150 gold one that u buy in ascalon) and i was wondering now that i just reached Lion's Arch, that i should upgrade to wyvren armor. I'm obviously goign to get plate or knights armor and ascalon has dmg reduction on it. So is it worth it to dish out 1.5k for a new set of wyvren armor? or should i jus keep it and save for platemail?

By the way whats the dmg reduce on ascalon anyways? is it % or Number?

No not yet anyway. You will come to some towns that have 59 af. I however would say that you don't even buy then. I would wait till you have finished all the missions in Kryta and get to druid outlook. Once out and about there. you can get armors that are rated 65 af. Better and more cost effective to go from 50 to 65 then 50 to 59 to 65.

i think the damage reduction is -2 and it doesnt stack with runes.
