Was looking around & hearing people in the game asking for mirror help. Well i have to say it is hard but with some experimenting i did it. Now me being a N/R it only took me 4 spells, some it can take 3-2 depends on second profession.

1. Find these spells. (Signet of Agony, Plague Touch,Malaise)

Signet of Agony- Sacrifice 10% max health and suffer from bleeding. All nearby foes take 10-37 damage. (you will use this spell one time)

Plague Touch- Transfer a negative condition from yourself to target touched foe.(you will use this alot)

Malaise- For 5-29 seconds, target foe suffers energy degeneration of 2 and you suffer health degeneration of 2. Malaise ends if target foe's energy reaches 0.(you will not use this spell) This is to let his energy run out so he cant counter with Plague Touch

If you have any spells that can help you evade attacks equip it also. You wont be doing any attacking with just weapons so its just use of mp for him.


2. Use the spells that help you evade block first. Use the Signet of Agony, run up to him & use plague touch. This step is all timing. Dont keep casting plague over & over. wait to you see it on the top of your screen. Keep repeating this & it will work.

Also for help(Defile Flesh) Sacrifice 20% max health. For 8-18 seconds, target foe receives only two-thirds benefit from healing. You wont be healing so it just takes down his health ( you will not use this spell)

I used Vampric Gaze, Armor Weakness, and Swarm - with the others being Life sacrificing skills. Worked like a charm.

Hi Kazkie.

I can imagine how this could actually work and I'm eager to try it out. My problem is that I don't know where to get the Signet of Agony so if you'll let me (and others) in on it I might be able to beat my mirror too. As of now I believe that he has kicked my butt about 10 times in a row and we're really not the best of friends anymore :boxer:

Well there is a trainer, Bartoch: Droknar's Forge

But cant get there because i think its after you acsend.

I belive i captured it somwhere between Bloodstone & Amnoon.
I will go look for it & some other skills to help with the mirror & keep updating this. Just be sure to keep a signet of capture with you at all times if you can.

If anyone knows where they got it please post or a different spell that could help people.

Well there is a trainer, Bartoch: Droknar's Forge

I knew about the trainer but that didn't help me ;) I managed to beat the mirror without the Signet of Agony but for the sake of others we might as well try to figure out where to get it before Droknar.

I just found out that Signet of Agony can be gotten as a quest reward from a ghost called Tirzah in Seeker's Passage. Hope that's gonna help someone :)

Well I am very happy to hear of your progress. I thank you for providing the location of the signet. My people have told me in game,aim,e-mail of there progress. Most have provided updates for it & other ways for different necro/second class. I will start a new thread will all the sugesttions I have gotten from people. And congrats on beating the mirror Nihil.

I came across kind of a fluke when I beat my N/R mirror. I was about to peg off for the night at the time, so I thought I'd just roll in there with what I had equipped from the last mission, and see how it would go. I happened to have Favourable Winds on, and I noticed that as soon as I got into the self-whooping chamber, my mirror immediately cast the ritual. I ended up getting schooled that time, but I had an idea when I got back to town. I loaded up my bar with nothing but nature rituals, and traps, and stuff that doesn't do any damage to a stationary foe. When I got in there, my mirror went to work furiously casting ALL the rituals and traps first - all the while with me pounding away at it. By the time it got around to shooting at me, it was 90% dead, and dying a poisony death. Managed to smoke him in 30 seconds flat, with me taking only two hits, heh heh.
