View Full Version : Looking for a N/R build.....

I've been playing for a little while now.....and i think i made a wrong decision when I chose Ranger for a Seconday proffesion.

Before gettingthe game, I told myself....Necro = Steal hp and summon minions to slaughter...and Ranger = Ranged assault.

My stats are currently - Blood Magic - 11 (10 without enhancment rune)
Death Magic - 10
Curses - 2 (I hate curses)
Soul Reaping-5 (To obatain a Energy)
Marksmanship - 8
Everything else - 0

So...all in all its okay....the only problem is that I don't think im very eefective on the battle ground. If anyone can advise me on good minion summoning ranger build...i would be greatful...and my clan would too....

P.S - I'd prefer a PvE build, im going to make a separate PvP character...

I would probably take a few points out of Death Magic,I haven't found the minions THAT useful myself. I would probably bring death magic down to 6 or 7 ,and put the extra points into Wilderness survival For the prep bonuses,and Troll Urgent.if you have enough ,increase marksmanship a lil more.
Use him as a ranged AOE damage dealer who gets energy back in the masses when he takes out a huge group of enemies,Keep the blood magic for healing ofcourse.
I would go ahead and get those points out of Curse since you don't like it and put them into Soul Reaping or use them to help make one of your more usful to you skills better.
