the +5 energy sword.

im currently using a 14-20 dmg bog standard sword and a grim cesta +6 energy foci. but a 13ac str based shield jsut dropped and now im contemplating getting that 14-21 + 5 energy sword crafted and sticking my icy holt etc on it?
just wondering if the 13ac will make a good difference? and whether there are many swords with better dmg that 14-21? thanks.

15-22 is the max dmg on a sword. I still haven't seen a max dmg sword with the +5 energy, but I'd love to have one.

also one question id like to ask si it it worth putting the icy hilt on it? do many people have cold resistance and will it degrade the dmg in any way? thanks
