Are there any cool looking truncheons? And by cool looking i mean like the firey sword, the chaos axe or the storm bows(i think those are the cool glowy kind?).

Personally, I think the Dragon Sword, Chaos Axe, and Storm Bow all look kind of dumb, but this stems mostly from the enormous number of people who use it.

For necromancers, you can't really beat staves (not wands) for graphics. If you look closely, most will have evil green energy and swinging moss growth (Accursed Staff) or the twinkling lights of trapped souls (Bone Staff).

Currently, I'm all for the Raven Staff. It is the only one that appears while dancing. It is also quite unique in that no one else uses it.

They probably dont use it because, I hope im not mistaken here, I cant ever find one that has good stats or good damage. I find plenty for +10 energy but I think thats the one Im always finding in the shiverpeaks for like 6-9 damage and always seems to be highly salvageable =/

Although it appearing while dancing I dont think applies to my character as I dont think it appears in the female dance, and would look silly if it did.

But no there are no "unique" looking weapons for necros as of yet. I hope they put something in though. But then again I hope they add a LOT of cool looking weapons(MAGMAS ARM SHOULD NOT LOOK LIKE HAMMER ><)

but yea like a big reapers scythe with souls swirling around it or something interesting like that would be cool ^^

Staves offer bonuses that wands and idols never can. While the idol and wand combo may yield higher energy in most cases, only with a staff can you increase your enchantment durations.

Also bear in mind that YOU ARE A MAGIC USER! Your weapon's damage is insignificant in most cases! Unless you have a specific spell that requires a specific type of damage to trigger it (i.e. Spinal Shivers), you should never depend on your weapon's damage.

I think youd be suprised what 20 damage can do to a monk with a fairly high dp.

yea warriors do more but your far away and can see when a monk is resed and late in a Good PvP fight where people die and are resed almost instantly its like one-two hits to reverse that. 8 seconds of casting wasted and another body to manipulate.

but your right staves do offer good bonus's like enchantment stuff. thats why i have one with enchantments last 15% longer on a weapon switch. you dont need to have 1 weapon...get more than that. I have a set for enchantments, one for high chance of speedy casting for when i res, on for short cooldown on death magic and one for quick cooldown on curses.

use your weapon switches effectively and it makes u so much better. I just like to keep all those weapon having good damage as i am attacking a target while waiting for the right time to use skills, or waiting for regen.

Staves and wands share the same maximum damage, 11-22. I've got plenty of both (most of them are monk though).
