Hmmm...why is it that I see such incredibly many warriors running forwards into a group of enemies...only then to turn around once they got attention and leading them right into the middle of the back row with the casters, healers and rangers?

I mean, yeah, it's polite and whatnot to be introduced with each other. "And this, kind golem, is our mage. He only has paper armor. But otherwise he is a nice guy." ... still, I could do without it.

Could you guys please run into the enemy and stay there instead of takeing their attention and leading them back to us? Trust us, we can keep you healed.

Yeah I agree this is a problem with warriors, myself using one, but I find this happens alot because casters forget to tell us they need to regen their energy. I find i'll rush into a fight with no support because casters are still regening an forget to tell me then i'll get smacked cuz i'm the only one attacking. I think this is a two way street but I do agree there are some dummy warriors out there.

Maybe it is just missing trust that comes from not "seeing" your friends around you any more when you are at the front. I can understand that. But just because you can't see us doesn't mean we forget about you. :)

Yeah I think the problem is just a lack of communication. I think after each fight the casters should ctrl-leftclick on their energy bar to tell us warriors to wait a sec. But that isn't gonna do a thing for those really thick-headed know it all warriors

I rush back to the healers/casters to kill the guys that turn on you. However what I would like to get is a caster/healer that doesn't RUN AWAY when the mob is on him. People I can't stress this enough. If you run, you make it very hard to save your ***. Believe it or not, nothing I like saving more then a hot ELM *** but come on, it isn't fun playing hard to save.

I find being a warrior is like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. First of all we are expected to be the first line of attack (which we should be) but if an enemy gets by and attacks the backrow we are left with two decisions; A) rush back and risk bringing back more enemies with us or B)stay and fight and get flamed for not helping out. I think it all depends on the dynamics of the group.

Speaking as a Warrior/Elementalist, I try to whip out a nuke on stationaries(casters/ranged), then repel the incoming melees before they can get to my more squishy chums, or try and keep them from doing too much damage at least. It's a habit I formed working with Henchies all the time, who(as those who've used them know)aren't exactly the brightest and toughest of the lot. So far I haven't gotten any complaints, but I usually play with at least one other Warrior who goes headlong at the foe while I'm casting.

I tend to bring as much guys as I can into one tight knit group (be in on an ally or not) and then knock them all out with Mark of Pain. That works the best on mobs.

When you target a monster and start running for it, 2 or 3 more can simply run right by you. The monster I originally targeted, once I hit it, will most likely stay on me.

So, I will go back to kill the others. Just keep healing me.

Or, another thing that I do if there are say....3 warriors in a group...is to hang back. I let the others target and charge and then I will hover in the middle and wait for the obligatory monster that slips by. Now he has a warrior to deal with instead of the fleshy casters and monks.

I can't agree more with the comment about casters/monks needing to NOT run when getting attacked. You also take more damage that way. If a warrior is on the way...just hang tight. Trust us; we'll kill it.

Iam a warrior/monk.....in random groups of players I dont know I usually go after the enemy healers and kill them quickly then focus on the enemy melee guys. That usually means a couple of enemy tanks getting by me but there always is another warrior in the group to slow them down. Then once the enemy healers are gone I finish off the rest. But I have learned to hang back and wait for everyones health/energy to return before going after another mob, but many player rush headlong into the next group and that can screw things up without a doubt! But this is what makes this game fun, its the randomness of the other players, the varied groups or just watching newbies flame themselves on a group of Char!!! Just enjoy!!

Well, healers and mages need to realize that groups have to be aggro'd back a bit to get them away. So as long as it is communicated that we are aggroing this group back the healers and mages should stay back. Of course this never happens and is all hypothetical.
