Smiting Skills

Hey guys i have a me/mo and i use domination and smiting.
I know that holy dmg does 2x dmg to the undead and stuff but sumtimes wen i PvP it does double damage to other players...this warrior came up 2 me and i cast my bane signet which is usually 50 for 100 dmg...then i cast other spells which also double damage... is there any explanation? sumone help me out

same here, i was in the mission that takes you to yak's bend and my symbol of wrath and all other smiting skills was doing double damage sometimes on the charr, and i know it wasnt the enemy because sometimes it was doing double damage and sometimes it wasnt

Were they Necromancers?

I believe smiting does double dmg to "evil" as well as undead. Maybe the Necro's count as evil? Just a thought.

Yea some of em were necros but sum were like w/mo, e/mo/ and other classes

They might have been using Frenzy, or some other skill that makes you take 2x damage.

Frenzy or Healing Signet. Necro fanatic armour is also susceptable to holy damage.
