Anyone try this before? Energyless Monk... (Well he'll be losing constant energy atleast..) I just liked the conjunction of Signets / Retribution / Holy Wrath / Divine Favor, and I'll be using this to FARM. That's right, keep that in mind.

Mending (-1 energy regen enchantment, +health regen)
Retribution (-1 energy regen enchantment, 31% damage reflection)
Holy Wrath (-1 energy regen enchantment, 59% damage reflection, -10 energy when hit)
Divine Boon (-1 energy regen enchantment, gain health when you cast a Monk spell on ally)
Blessed Signet (feeds to Divine Boon and Divine Favor)
Purge Signet (feeds to Divine Boon and Divine Favor)
Signet of Devotion (heal, feeds to Divine Boon and Divine Favor)
Signet of Judgement (damage to adjacent enemies)

12 Divine Favor (3.2 health per monk spell cast upon me)
3 Healing Prayers (get Mending to +2, not worth it to max to +3)
12 Smiting Prayers (damage)

So, I cannot rely on mana whatsoever, as I will only need it when I start the run, to cast my enchantments. After that I will have no mana regeneration, whatsoever.

While creatures are hacking away at me, I will be deflecting 90% of their damage back, now that will be enough to kill me and leave me standing... If I stand there and do nothing, so to try and make up for that 10% damage that isn't brought upon them, I will use Signet of Judgement, which deals 63 damage to all adjacent foes, and knocks down one aswell.

With Divine Boon running, everytime I cast either Signet of Devotion, Blessed Signet, or Purge Signet, I will gain 99 health, except when I cast Signet of Devotion I will get 182 health. Pretty damn good, If you ask me.

So what do ya'll think? I'd most likely be farming at Riverside Province, although with Purge Signet I could try this in alot of places (except for enchantment removal areas).

And has this been done before? Or can I claim this with my own name?

Cheers

Edit -- Oops... Meant to put this in the Monk forums... My bad.

Uh, the Divine Favor and Divine Boon bonus only applies to spells. Signets aren't spells, so that may hurt your plan a bit.

First of all, I dont think you understand damage reflection. You will be eaten alive by mobs of enemies because damage reflection does not reduce damage dealed in anyway. Even if you do manage to survive, it wil take forever to kill enemies, especially casters such as fire imps, who deal more damage in degeneration than their initial attack.

Ahh didn't even catch that... oh well :(

hunter - I would probably be farming in areas without casters, such as Riverside.

You can try out a setup like this, it's not the best but you can run Riverside with it fairly easily.

Zealot's Fire
Orison
Healing Touch
Shield of Jug
Symbol of Wrath
Physical Resistance
Divine Boon
Balt's Spirit

12/10/8 Smiting/Divine/Healing

Spook - I use a similar build on my W/Mo right now, just using bal's spirit / aura along with zealots fire / symbol of wrath / healing spells... then stances as fillers. Works fine but I really liked the idea of massing out (while you maintain this enchantment...) Enchantments and using signets.

You can farm disenchant areas with a monk as long as you bring spell breaker along with you. Shield of Judgement is meh b/c it will take away from your Balth spirit. I run an elmo for farming. For non-disenchant mobs I use.

Zealots Fire
Balth Aura
Balth Spirit
Symbol of Wrath
Armor of Earth (just b/c my armor sux)
Mark of Protection
Reversal of Fortune
Flame Burst (you could sub this with various other things for pure monk)

If you're primary monk and you're facing dis-enchanting mobs I would recommend.

Zealots Fire
Balth Aura
Balth Spirit
Symbol of Wrath
Spell Breaker
Reversal of Fortune

And depending on your 2nd....i would try to find somthing to kill faster. Just requires a little tweaking to make it work but it can be done.
