this is what ive been able to come up with so far, i think it solid but you know i just dont feel like im getting the full potential out of it

Death Magic 10+2
Soul Reaping 5+2
Curses 7
8 Bar:::
Price of Failure - melee ward
Deathly Swarm - direct dmg
Empathy - melee ward
BackFire - caster ward
Energy Bum - direct dmg + mana deplenisher
Spiteful Spirit - AoE melee ward
Chaos Storm - AoE melee damager + Mana deplenisher vs caster
Power Strike - Direct dmg + caster interupter
Dont have to worry about mana very often 7 soul reaping does well for itself
Thinking about removing death magic due to only 1 spell in the toolbar and going with something else, perhaps maxing curses or some other mesmer tree
Recently pumped up curses a bit just to test it out, started to use:
Price of Failure and Spiteful Spirit
I stack it with empathy to get warriors off of monks or other casters.
Chaos storm, it may be a set spawn but if you catch any caster if for a couple seconds they lose energy quicker, plus 12 dmg a second, why not.
This skill im thinking about replacing but yet to find something better.
Deathly swarm im thinking about getting rid of death magic, i swear minions are hella fun but i want to be focused when it comes me vs a caster or melee. Its got a decent recharge and decent dmg, so i dont know O.o
Backfire of course, 120 dmg on a caster no questions asked
energy bum hits for 64 everytime, its great for when someones on the run with low hp just pop it and almost always gets em everytime, unfortunatly the cast time is a bit long, but still gets the job done, recharge time is a little hefty aswell.
Spiteful spirit, i just got it and implemented it onto my setup, but im just not feeling the power i see shadow beasts pop me with, then i came to the sad realization that it was "attacks or uses a skill" no a spell. Reccommendations?
Last but not least power strike, good for that quick thinkin pop it on a firestorm or ressuretion caster, great dmg and interruptable.
sorry for the long drawn out post but i wanted you all to see where i might be comin from when i select the skills of use, but thanks for the critizism and advice that will hopefully be given :)
