Enchantment vs Hex? What is the difference?

I'm still confused of when to use Shatter Hex, or Shatter Enchantment. What bosses use what? I can tell boss by color, but never know what's up, and what to use. So while on missions i can never decide what to use.

Can someone clear this for me?

I would like to know it, so i can start using Inspired Hex, or Enchantment, those two look really cool skills.

One more, there is a skill under Illusion Magic called Illusion of Weakness, why would i want to fake how low am I? is this more used during PVP, or can be used PVE as well?

Enchantments are also known as buffs, these spells cause a person to have a yellow "up" arrow in their health bar. So if you want to use inspired enchantment, look for the opponent's names and if they have a yellow "up" arrow, then they have enchantments.

Hexes are "debuffs" or things that usually cause negative effects (aside from conditions) these causes a purple "down" arrow in a persons health bar. Look through your party window, if you see an ally having that arrow, use inspired hex on him.

Its a way to store extra energy. For example:

you have 400 HP
you use illusion of weakness dropping your HP to 200
you wait till you are healed back to 400 HP
the moment your HP drops to 25% you gain back the 200 HP you lost

so its basically made you have 600 HP

its like storing HP into an enchantment and getting it when neeeded

Conditions should also not be confused with hexes. If someone on your team has their bar turn purple, that's a hex induced health loss and you can Shatter Hex or Inspired Hex that away. If their bar turns a pinky sort of colour, that's bleeding which is a condition. A brownish down arrow indicates a condition, and in those cases there's little you can do as a mesmer. If it's an enemy that has the arrow though, you can use Fragility on them and they'll take damage when they recover from that condition.

In general, hexes are cast on your enemies (likewise for the monsters, they cast hexes on you because you're their enemy), while enchantments are cast on yourself or your allies only. It helps to know the definitions of hex (http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=hex) and enchant (http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=enchant).

actually bleeding makes the enemy health bar blood-red

signs of neg conditions mostly show better in the character image itself.

Dazed: A white halo-like ring on your head
Blind: Black smoke puffing out of your eyes
Bleed: Blood-red HP bar and a ring of red (i guess blood) around the character.
Cripple: Limping character (not walking, limping)
Poison: Green HP bar
Disease: Similar to bleed only green not red
On fire: self-explanatory

Deep Wound now this is tricky, I don't see any signs of this condition.
