Mo/Me vs Mo/E. Which one has the best take down power?

im trying to decide which one to make me secondary, i have read good posts on the two and i was wondering which one of these builds has the best take down power. By this i mean, can kill pretty much anything they are confronted with.

well if you want take down power, id choose ele.. ele is an awesome profession.. its very versatile for what you want it to be

if you want area spells, theres pyromancer which does good damage too
if you want mass dmg spells, theres aeromancer which can bring down tough stuff
if you want defencive spells, theres geomancer which saves your *** a lot
if you want keep away(lol?) spells, theres aqua(?)mancer which doesnt let enemies get near you

but, i chose ele/monk for the energy storage, after all, another 20-30 energy can cast 3-4 more spells :)

If your goal is to "kill pretty much anything", perhaps you should choose an offensive class as main, and not a healing class?

If you just want to be able to kill as much as you can as a monk, the secondary proffession matters little, smite skills will work just fine with the right build.

and I would suggest Elementalist if you want more damage. I think of Mesmer more as a anti caster class.

Mo/E for sure. I play a Mo/Me but I play it only as a Monk. I found the high cost of Mez spells to costly to add them to my Spell Bag. 99% of the time I carry only Monk spells.

However... that being said I think(haven't tested) a Me/Mo would be a pretty good combo.
