Hey all,

I opened this thread because I just had an idea come into mind, which could be used as a skill, and i thought to myself, hey why not open a thread about it in the monk forum, so we can all make fun of those other professions who in the end always shout out our names (even if at times in indecent ways).

The Skill I had in mind was this:

Holy Guardian Leash

Enchantment. While this spell is activated, other enchanted ally gets +__ armor. Dmg done by ally increases by +___ and is holy. Enchanted ally get energy and health regen of +__.
Enchanted ally is restricted to stay near monk and not allowed further.


I had this idea when during a match this morning a player always kept on running from one mob to the other and didn't give me time to heal every1, being the only monk in a team of 8. Then when he got in trouble, I'd be too far away from him to heal. So I thought that if I could use a skill similar to this it would be kinda funny to watch him run around not able to go anywhere.

Just a thought I had, love to hear your response and any other ideas you might have. :D

Hmmm.

I'd like a "Sit!" command like from the anime Innuyasha!

I'd even make room for it on my skill bar. :)

How about this:

Signet of Restraint
Cost: 0
Casting time: 1/4 second
Recharge time: 10 seconds
Related attribute: Healing Prayers
Effect: Immediately teleport target ally to your location. Target ally is crippled for (10...45) seconds. This ability has no range restrictions.

And yes, the crippled effect lasts longer with higher healing prayers. Healers need this to keeps noobs in tow.

Hmmm.

While we're at it how about:

Signet of Monkey Spanking
No energy cost
recharges in 30 seconds
Summons large monkey to spank targeted ally

It's a dream ...... :)

Hehe, love this one. Though i'd prefer if you didn't use the word noobs, because i've encountered players at all levels and with all professions doing this. It's the name calling part that i've seen only with high-levels players, who think they are better than all others, only to get killed immediately.

:idea:

This just brought a new skill to my now devilish mind. Being that guild wars is a team based game, they should make this one:

Dwayna's Caress

Enchantment. For allies around spellcaster, gain a health regen of +(1..5). All allies out of reach of spellcaster get a -(5..1) health degen.


Particularly useful for those runaways, who will start to learn to stick as a group. :p

Remind you guys, that i didn't make this thread to be of offense to any1, but just to make the game more enjoyable for every1, as well as for us monks to have a laugh :D

Attribute: None
Description: All monk skills do the total opposite of what they're supposed to do

Example: Guy runs too far from group.. use this + resserect... dead guy :P

Or another..

Kill Ally
Attribute: Divine Favor
Description: Kills target ally party member, incurs no death penalty, and has a range of (5-5000m)

Hmm.. I guess I just dont like the people that decide they want to be stupid and solo everything and get the group killed
