All the solo/farming builds that are currently around rely on 1 thing and im guessing by now you all know from the title. The key to success is enchatments. So what does anet do? They add some type of enchantment removal spell to the monsters in all the areas they did/did not nerf. The only other option that I could think of is to make a build that can deal massive aoe damage quickly, without using any type of enchantment spells. This way you do not need to heal at all because you would kill them so fast OR mabye just some non enchantment healing spells. Is this possible? I know there are so many different skill combos out there, so I was wondering if somone could give me some advice as to where or how to start. Any help appretiacted.

Well in the place that I'm farming my monk doesn't use any enchantments. I have 3-4 good AOE attacks that will do massive damage against the groups in that particular mission. I probably could bring Balthazar's Spirit, but its not really neccessary.

Could you give me some information about your build? From what i've been told go with fire.

Fire is very good because of the massive AOEs to take out mobs quickly. I use Gates of Kryta to farm, and while the drops aren't great, I do make some good money. I can take out the undead with great ease using a Smiting Monk (smiting does 2x damage to undead) and then i finish it up fighting off the drakes and grabbing the chest. Takes about 20-30 minutes a mission with me getting slightly over 2k.

ele/ranger is great. you can do mass dmg and still have quick-casting support spells, and u can still have ranger defensive skills for back-up if they remove your primary enchantment ( ele one). for example with my fire/ranger i can still farm flesh golems :D
