Help with videos

i currently have fraps. and ive taken a few videos with it of me playing gw etc. is there any programs that i can add speical effects etc. i tried dr divx but i dont understand it *cough the crack is confusing cough*. is there any ptograms u guys know of other than that or can help me with dr divx that would be great. thx in advance

There's also windows movie maker. Though it makes me want to rush out screaming... So used to doing stuff with Premiere at school.

I have a question that I hope someone out there can answer.

I just downloaded Taksi. It is a video recording program, and says it just needs to be running to make videos. problem is, there is no way to get it running. no place to double click it and no simple "run" button. Any helpfulness that could be offered would be great. Thanks.

Hm, forum search is really useful! ^_^ I've been looking for a freeware alternative to fraps, since I found out it was shareware...

Taksi is an open source project. If you can't find any executables, chances are you've downloaded source files. Meaning you have to compile it yourself, or see if there are any binaries (compiled for windows) to download. Hope someone else finds this useful... hint, don't download the one with -src in it's name.
