Has anyone yet thought of the Ritualist's armor?
What will be the prices?
1.5k or 15k or something differently priced?
Will they have armor with the status and looks of FOW armor?
Of course i only intended this to be a form of discussion and speculation.
cant wait for chapter 2

Im trying to guess:
kinda guaranteed: armor will be standart 60 caster thing giving 4 pips of energy regen
I will bet that: Energy armor will be tatoos or something else thats really revealing (think of warrior glads or 15k female ranger ...)
About pricing: 1500/800 and 15k/8k are normal prices for all kinds of armors, and max version without extra bonuses will be aviable from collectors, so for sake of consistency, it will be as hard to get as any other armor

I imagine the Assassin and Ritualist will have FoW armors (to be fair), as well as the normal 15k and Drok stuff.
Here's an idea- the blindfolds are the Ritualist's head armor.
So if the blindfolds are his head gears...will he have white eyes under them ? :D
If yes..ill be really happy.

Yea, I also thinks that blindfols will be the ritualist head gear. The rest of the armor I'm thinking about long black robes or something like that;)

Yes, robes and cloaks and hoods and all that stuff is something that has been sorely missing from the spellcasters' wardrobe. Hopefully there won't be a lot of skintight stuff (to differentiate the class a little from the necro, which has a lot of that).

i would love to see awesome flowy robes of various colours and designs. you have to admit a character running around blindfolded and with a robe would be intimidating if not cool:happy14:

I think every class has alot (too much) skin tight armor, I am really hoping that the new classes wont be so slutty and we can start to see some slightly respectable looking female characters around.
While just writing this post I realised that these new armors must be respectable outfits, because there has simply been SOO much complaining about the skankyness of ingame characters..

There are a few screenshots of a Ritualist in the article, and the only one we see (it's the same character) appears to be more like an African demon sorcerer than an European Merlim like wizard. Tribal clothes, not robes.

Prices .. same as the rest. Why not?
I'm curious if the ritualist will get the 60 armour set or a more ranger like 70 armour. But I guess ritualist will be 60 and I would bet assassins will get 70.

That's my belief as well.

Yhea I think 60 and 70 sounds about right to me for the new armours, I dont really see the ritualist getting more armor since he wears tattoos and such

Yeah i think that is what most are expecting, but we really don't know till we see what casting times, costs, and recharge of skills. All of those are taken into consideration when they make energy max, regen, and AL levels for the classes.

I'm hoping for a version of ritualist armor that gives +1 energy regen if you have all the pieces, but some kind of penalty to.
they haven't had 'set' bonuses yet, doubt they'd start now.
where I wouldn't mind some robes, issues come up with the mix and match.
personally I'm glad robes haven't pervaded GW like it did EQ.
cheap way out - one robe covered all and got old...

If you decide to not wear the helm in towns etc. will the ritualist still have something to cover his eyes?

Why would they wear it out in battle?..Because they are like blind..So that is a reasonable belief that they would keep it covered all the time..Like Necro's and their scar patterns or Monks and the head tats.. A blind man can't choose to see..

they have never actualy said that a ritualist is blind, just that he wears a blind fold. the lore states that a ritualist looks into the ethreal realm to view his surroundings in combat. the reason for the blind fold would be to avoid sensory overload. seeing 2 things at once would wrack ones mind. also, bear in mind you're argueing with some one droping hints to us, not some one speculating ;)
