It's "Rt". T! As in tea, a drink with jam and bread. :grin:

a simple impulse. I myself call them Rits sounds much better to me.

Either way as long as communication is accomplished it wouldnt matter right?

Nomenclature. It's right or it's wrong. :tongue:

I was in a group in CA and as we were approaching the battle, someone called out, "Rits first, then monks." Sounds like the rits are getting a rep.:wink:

Yhea I usually call them Ri or rits, why? because it starts with Ri and I dont see why I should call it RT haha.

and yes I think they are getting abit of a rep.. but I still say monks before rits and probably spirits before monks depending on what they are. But if the monk is too tough of a nut to crack I will switch to the ritualist because they tend to be alot easier to kill.

not really hard to figure out, our previous usage was -
mesmer = me
monk = mo

now we have ranger and ritualist, so why wouldn't you assume
ranger = ra (or as some would argue, keep just 'r' as it predates ritualist)
ritualist = ri

rt doesn't make any sense to me at all, and if ANet hadn't done it I'd say it was a silly move. Heck I'll still say it!

why not monk = mn or mk then
mesmer = ms, mm, or mr

you took as many letters as needed to make it unique that's why

as for ritualists and monks my opinion at 50000 feet -
ritualists are better with setup, monks are better on the road and adjustment

might say that with ritualists and eles too with the right build

I'm really hoping the standbys get a nice injection with the new skills for them coming for chp2... we'll see! Woulda been nice to see this wkend...

What is right and wrong is relative.

As long as people understand what is meant, the communication works.

People are not confusing it with Rangers by calling them Ri's, Rit's, Rt's etc.
