Assassin Question

I was just overlooking the assassin skills and happened to notice the skill Way of the Lotus:Hex Spell. For 10-30 seconds, the next time you hit target foe with a dual attack skill, you gain 5-13 Energy. Does this mean that the dual shot would work? I know its a ranger skill but it is a dual attack. I'm just wondering cause I might create a ranger / assassin.

I doubt it. Way of the Lotus is referring to attack skills that are classified as 'Dual Attacks', like some skills are classified as 'Lead Attacks' and 'Off-Hand Attacks'. Dual Shot is just an 'Attack'. It MAY get revised in Factions though, so take my words with a grain of salt.

I don't think so. As dual shot is counted as a Bow attack, and Dual attack is an Assassin type of skill. You should try it though.

Ah, I wish it did. I already created a great build that focuses on dual shot and other assassin skills.

I can see some crazy fun and effective ranger spike builds coming out, as Ranger/Assassins. :)
