Hey there

Obviously you have upgraded the forum system again, and I'd like to share my thoughts with you.

News ticker: Very cool
(I cannot think of more words to describe this :smiley: )

Announcement smiley: nice idea, but too big
As you can see the announcement-smiley extends the first row and pushes all threads a bit to the right.

We will get used to it after some time, but until then we will be very sad :sad:

Yeah, I am surprised how fast it got removed (nice work for that)

It was located left from the announcement-field, where you can see the announcement-tag.

Yup, it was him. Doubled or tripled the space, so I made this comment.

Nope, no upgrade to the forums for weeks.

We added the ticker though.

The announcement horn blowing guy has been the graphic for a couple years now and I just use it on all the forums. It changes to a regular non animated one once you've read the announcement.

I made it larger and animated intentionally so it stands out.

I made it larger and animated intentionally so it stands out.

Hmm, that has been the first time I saw him. Guess there aren't much announcements :smiley:
