Search for persons post

This came up with the thread for "Concerns in CVG article" currently at 127 posts there is a lot of crap to sift through... I did have my own concerns about that interview but realise that it has been tainted by several over laying layers known as journalisim.

What i wanted was to see if Gaile had responded (ie there was an official word not an assumption). To cut it down i did the following:


Went to Gailes profile and searched all posts, found the thread title, this launched me to the begining of the thread... no good
Searched the thread for the word Gaile... you would not believe how many people say her name... but still no luck
In the end i just went page by page looking for her avatar


What i would im wondering is if there is a function at which you search and jump to that persons post rather than the OP, Page 1?

When you searched Gaile's posts and found the thread name, do not click on teh thread name, instead click on the first line inside that post. It is a link directly to her post in that thread.

Otherwise, you can go to the top of the thread, and click on Search this thread, and then advanced search and then type Gaile into the username and hit go ;)

Thanks, i will give that a try, on the crap lcd monitor at work its very hard to see hyperlinks so ill give that a gonext time!:laugh:
