Registration /Nickname Query!

Hello,

Firstly i must say that im a long time forum reader, but i've only recently
registered because my "desired" username is already "supposedly" in use, :cry:

I tried to register at various times over the last few months but always had this error.


The following errors occurred during your registration:
That username is already in use. If you are T1Cybernetic and you have forgotten your password, click here (http://forums.gwonline.net/login.php?do=lostpw).
I've checked through the members list over and over again but i cant find the
nickname: T1Cybernetic and so i've been put off registering ever since really.

If it's possible that the name is "free" what would be the chances of me reacquiring it?

Hi

I believe the sytem doesn't allow numerals, although there doesn't seem to be an error for that, it just says 'name already taken' rather than an error. I'll add a note to the registration page pointing that out so others don't run into the problems you are.

Elly, it must allow some numbers, as we have a member named lurker54.

sounds like one of the Admins has the name on a "Do not Register" list.

I know it's been a while but i thought i would try again and ask if it was possible to get my "true" nickname registered T1Cybernetic
I had a quick check earlier and it says that the nickname was still in use :( just thought i would ask ya know :P Not being me is strange.
