Problem installing second GW game.

A buddy of mine gave me his copy of GW since he has quit playing. I figured I could install it so I can have an extra 4 slots but the installation disc recognizes that I already have a copy of GW in my computer. Do people with 2 accounts have them on seperate computers or am I diong something wrong? Someone help please!

You don't need to install a second time to use his account. That's what the login screen is for. :grin:

Just use his login to play his, or your login to play yours.

Wish it was that simple but he has no clue what his login name or password was!

then you need to get his account details off him, not his GW Box. People who have two account usually run them on one pc, you can log out of one account, and into the other easily.

And yes it is actually possible to run two copies of guildwars simultaneously, but I'll not go into that here, just search for it.

Wish it was that simple but he has no clue what his login name or password was!If he doesn't know what email address and password he used to login, then the only way to recover that is for your friend to submit a scanned copy of the CD-Key from the box and open a trouble ticket at http://support.guildwars.com
