Do spirits count as allies?

Some skill effects target 'allies'. Now, i know spirit cant be directly hexed or enchanted, but do other skills which affect allies work on spirits?

For instance, if skill says "all allies in the area....." does it include spirits?

no sprits are chain souls, unless the sprit is willing to help then that is different. From what i see it they are chain up souls.

well they are chained up souls that help you.

They count as allies, that's for sure. For example I use Well of Blood and it works on them.
As far as I know every green dot on your compass is an ally.

Yes they do. In spells like Spirit Channeling and Clamor of Souls the idea behind them is for these spells to work with spirits. A dead spirit does not aid IWAY much like a dead minion doesnt, and we all know minions are allys.

Ok thanks, Jean pretty much saw what skills i had in mind (as well as some others). Now it makes abit more sense :)
