View Full Version : Enchanted in Ascalon? *Possible Spoilers*
This is during a quest if you are an Elementalist or have it as a secondary. You are told to kill a Tower Golem in Wizard's Folly to prove some petty argument. Yet here's where things are odd,the Tower Golem is an Enchanted Armor. Last I remember they were only found the Crystal Desert. I refuse to think of this as just another use of the skin with a different name and a lower level. In Pre-Searing Ascalon we see an Enchanted Armor, they just describe it as a Tower Golem. Yet how did it get there?
I wouldn't discount this, but since it's the only one there it must be of some significance. Also, most of the Enchanted Armors have wings or metal on their back that looks like it right?
They do seem very much alike.
Like the rings on their leg and arm armor parts.
A shield on the belt/middle.
Spikey body armor.
Hammer heft very much alike.
So yea they are probably ascendends. (or how do u call it)
Very interesting finding.
I do know that if you compare the maps of Pre Searing and Post Searing... That part where you fight that Golem is very very close Thunderhead Keeps location.
You managed to get better pics of the Tower Golem than I did. Though you can still see a few similarities in the two. Except for a few minor details they look nearly the exact same. Biggest difference I see are the shoulders and the helmets.
There was a thread discussing this...um I think it was one talking about the Tower there. I can't find a link but if you run a search on Ascalon Tower there might be some theories.

I'm asking for a closing of this thread, as there is an on-going discussion in the The Unseen Ones Revealed: A Cultural Paleoanthropolgical Survery of the Mursaat Tread.
It disscusses the Tower Golem, The Enchanted, and the Mursaat and their similarities.
i tried to take some screenies of the tower golem, got about 50 but none of them are really great
