Two hands scythes (otherwise they wouldn't be scythes :laugh: ). Nice to see that confirmed.

Looks very nice. I just wish the picture was a bit bigger.

She looks a little more killer than the previous model renders. Though it's obviously been rendered with something a little more powerful than the normal game engine, the pose really shows more menace than the slightly girly pose previously used for the game-engine renders.

BAH!? a straight handle?! pathetic.. I suppose it's spiky enough but a scyther should have a nice Curved handle.. hope they make a decent harvesting skin..

I am sure there will be many many scythe skins to choose from... If they were all curved, wouldn't that take away from the diversity?

Don't wanna flame, but I find it a tad distressing to see so many people in these forums criticize the art of GW, when I find that it's probably the most detail-oriented and beautifully designed game out there, in all of its aspects.

or stupid
and iv seen this pic in multiple threds
so yea ummmm wat pic is it that has the dervish wielding the scythe as all im seein are the pic or one very similar to the one that they releaced when they announced the new classes??????????
EDIT: i found a paragon one so now i just cant see the dervish (i found the paragon one here http://forums.gwonline.net/showthread.php?t=412759 )
Edit 2: ok the paragon was a totaly differant pic the concept art was removed as iv now (slowly) found out, however there is a pic at the bottom of this page of the (real?) pics that everyone is talking about

Take a look at the top of this page (http://guildwars.nctaiwan.com/event/globeEvent/ch3Preview/event.asp#) - I have the feeling that is going to be the box art for Nightfall (and it's a nice drawing of the Dervish female).

Yep! Love that they didn't make her all dainty! Again, GW does an astounding job at respecting the profession's culture and history and spirit... She does look like a sturdy woman, capable of being in the middle of battle and holding her ground just fine...
