A new review of Guild Wars: Factions has popped up over at Actiontrip.com (http://www.actiontrip.com/reviews/guildwarsfactions.phtml). The author makes a few assertions and comments that are pretty negative, but may have a stint of truth.

Still, the story itself didn't feel as epic as the original. Obviously, the team didn't have enough time to flesh it out properly.
As always, there are some discrepancies between the article and the game itself. Missions in Factions don't have rewards based on extra objectives completed and there is a heavy hint of WoW comparisons throughout the article.

I think its noteworthy that *both* reviews mention the storyline as a negative. I agree and have seen plenty of threads saying the same. Hopefully a.net learned from this experience, as the majority of players seemed universally confused/disappointed with a story that has huge gaps and very jumbled ideas which, at times, make absolutely no sense.

The first review linked I found to be extremely biased, tho. The author claims a Ritualist is simply a WoW shaman without burst dps? For someone who has experience with both classes, that is a ridiculous thing to say. He also states early on that he simply found nothing to do after completing the missions in Prophecies, but only later confesses that he's just not into PvP..
