I XM

First I have to say this is the first time I have enjoyed playing a healer in any RPG. Had to get that off my chest. (no fighter, mage or priest for me usually). I did get a bit bored after the 5th Glad Point in a few hours.
Dwayna's Bond (aka RA farming machine)
14 Mysticism (10+1+3)
14 Earth Prayers (11+3)
10 Protection Prayers
Armour: Full Nomad's (+hp)
Equipment: Hale Holy staff of Fortitude (30hp/30hp 20/20 prot) and a +Energy set of some sort.
Default set should leave you with 500hp and 70AL which is reasonable despite the two sup runes.
Life Bond
Balthazar's Spirit (more or less optional)
Pious Renewal
Signet of Piety
Reversal of Fortune
Draw Conditions (optional slot)
Avatar of Dwayna {E}
Rez
Cast Life Bond on 3 teamates and Balthazar's Spirit on yourself for energy management, although it is actually optional in this build if you want another energy management skill or wish to rely on Mysticism/Pious Renewal alone.
Pious Renewal(5E 0.25s 3s) --> Signet of Piety: to heal others or yourself. 5E to cast, you get back 9E (2 from PR and 7 from 14 Mysticism), get healed for 65 (23 from PR, 42 from Mysticism) and heal your target for 128hp. Unless you are e-denied etc... you can continuously do PR --> SoP. If you are gaining enough energy through Balthazar's Spirit, then you can do PR --> SoP --> RoF continuously, the recharges match nicely. If you are quick with the micro, you can PR --> SoP your target, RoF yourself and SoP your target again, this is 2x128 within 3-4 seconds.
When you get heavily attacked or hexed, activate Avatar of Dwayna. Now each PR --> SoP heals you for 159 (23+42 +2x47 from Avatar of Dwayna) as well as clearing 2 hexes. You can consider yourself immune to all hexes apart from Diversion at this point. Casting SP and them using RoF on yourself repeatedly is enough to tank most things that will get thrown at you under Avatar of Dwayna (both 1/4 second casts). When you get a breather You can do SP --> SoP to top up your heal again with that nice 287hp (159+128) heal usable every 3 seconds.
Anything useful can be thrown in the 2nd optional slot. I kept Draw Conditions after using it in an earlier test with Avatar of Melandru. (Immunity to conditions + Draw Condtions spamming = cheap self-heal). Btw I found Melandru provided insufficient self-heal unless using Vital Boon and also means carrying Pious Restoration to deal with hexes. On the other hand Avatar of Dwayna is extremely powerful v/s hexes if you can use several low recharge skills: Cover hexes? What cover hexes? And the self-heal is also very good if spamming skills. It's the best Avatar along with the Balthazar one, I think. If the constant self-heal wasn't so much overkill (or rather over-heal) I would bring something else or try to squeeze in a condition removal or something, but it doesn't really matter. Careful not to draw daze though. Another good candidate would be Imbue Health (10E 0.25s 10s) which heals another ally for 47% of your max health at 14 Mysticism (235hp if you have 500hp). Or simply the good old Guardian.
You could replace Life Bond/Balthazar's Spirit completely with something like Protective Spirit/Spirit Bond or whatever else. I mainly wanted to test if it was possible to maintain 3-4 enchants and still have usable energy levels. Turns out the energy rarely drops. I was constantly between 20-35. Except in case of evil mesmers and such trying to do bad things to me. I only had to switch to my high energy set once (that I can remember) through several hours of farming and unlocking. Enchant removal is annoying but you can usually out-pace them. Don't stand in the evil wells of doom death though! ^^
Unfortunately I didn't get time to test P/Mo using the elite Paragon skill Angelic Bond which is like Life Bond on steroids, but is a skill (not a maintained enchant, can't be removed, doesnt cost energy to maintain, works on any damage taken but doesn't reduce it). Would need some heavy protection on yourself, but would effecitively cut almost all damage taken by your team members in half. Add a Rit with union/shelter and good energy management and it could potentially be awesome. But as I said, I didn't have time to unlock and test Angelic Bond and this is the Dervish forum anyway.
