With today's exciting news of the the release date for Nightfall, many of you will no doubt be pre-ordering the game. If you are pre-ordering, you can help the site by ordering through our shop which you can locate here (http://www.gwonline.net/index.php?page=shop).

sounds like a cool thing, i will defiantly do that, i guess no us collectors thing is like out or being pre ordered? I saw the standard one you could get, but no us collectors :o
Nah, Collector's is up there. It's wicked, mate. Rushter, who is building the list of products? Does that come from Amazon or do you guys put it up manually?

Well, that's really nifty. Unfortunately, as much as I love GWO, I'm a bit wary of online services getting stuff delivered on time- I'm going to be kicking myself a week after release if Amazon still hasn't shipped my Nightfall copy and all my guildmates are already playing it. Much easier to just walk into a store IMO, and I never had problems with the ones in my area during Factions release (well, except for the whole CE fiasco). Maybe I'll bump myself up to a Silver next time I have to renew my PALship instead

I've had extremely good experiences with Amazon as far as preorders went - I got Factions preordered from Amazon, and it showed up in time for me to participate in at least 10-15 hours of the head-start event for people who had preordered. I say "at least" because I don't remember the exact time it arrived, but it arrived just as soon as I could have possibly bought it in stores - it was shipped a day or two before release day.
So at least in my case, it worked out just fine.

If I might ask, what does GWO get out of the Amazon orders (If anything)?
Do you get click advertising, or a portion of sales?
Just wondering, dont get me wrong, I'm not objecting at all, I think its an excellent idea and I'll likely order thought it, but I was wondering what benefit GWO have from it
Aw. They (UK) won't ship to NZ. So I'll have to wait for the US CE to become available. Do you know if that will happen, Rush?

Does that include the pre-order release as described at guildwars :

Amazon run an affiliate program so anything order via a link from here will pay a commission. I think something like 5% (could be wrong on that).
I used to belong to the affiliate program with Chips and Bits and had preorders on the worldofwar.net site and did just under $5,000 worth of preorders, unfortunately when they all shipped to the customers chips and bits didn't pay me the commission <insert expletive>. So any sites out there looking for an affiliate program - avoid those guys like the plague.
Amazon, on the other hand are pretty sound. I know a few other sites who've used them for years with no problems. They appear to have their act together.

No, it's not there for US customers. It's definitely available on http://www.amazon.co.uk but not on http://www.amazon.com. I looked on Froogle.com and Google.com and the string "Guild Wars Nightfall Collector's Edition" only finds presales on .uk and .ie sites. :-(
NCSoft, could you please get pre-order Nightfall Collector's Edition available for those of us in the USA?
Cheers,
CM
Once the finalize everything that will be available in the CE, I'll help the site out and order at that time.
Uhm did the pre release disappear from amazon?????
i can't find it anymore?
help!

by the way: the european site ( amazon.co.uk) does not show the prerelease bonus pack,at least I don't see it on the link provided by this site's admins ( if I can support this site by purchasing at Amazon I'd do that but I'd need to be sure this would include the prerelease ).

Is the US Nightfall CE going to be added? It's on the Amazon site now, and since EBgames isn't getting a 3rd chance from me, wouldn't hurt to try Amazon and help the site at the same time.
