What a game. Tight as all the way through considering the ratio of NPC's to morale advantage. Looked grim for iQ, yet they end up taking down IB's Lord just moments before their own Lord runs into the army of IB Archers at the stand. Great play by both teams.

I thought iB would win... and then few min later i come back from the kitchen, their GLord down on health and... then dies :>

It was a fatal mistake on iB part that made iQ win possible, instead of taking out the 2 iQ monks, they chose to hit the warriors hitting on their guild lord.

A guild lord won't run into the middle until both lords have reached a "waiting area" near the flagstand. While they stand at this point, they cannot be moved in any way. This makes rushes at 32-35 minutes very powerful, as it effectively forces an up-close 8v8 fight. For a team to beat another that uses that strategy, they either have to kill all of the enemies fighting at the lord, allowing the lord to move to the stand and causing both lords to run in, or they can send off a split team to kill the rival lord as he stands closish to the flag stand, hoping that they can kill the rival lord faster than the one at base goes down.

I LOVED the start of that match though, the build used was very innovative and allowed them to nab some "WTF?!" kills.

This game was truly awesome. Although i like iQ more in general, i was really hoping iB would win this one because their strategy was very very nice.

They had the game till the very end, with a big Morale advantage and a HUGE NPC one. Sadly they failed to win in a straight fight even in these conditions while they could've. Just that might've changed the face of the whole tournament, since iB did a very close game with iQ on second match too. They got cleared in 2 games first round, but they showed as much skill as the best in the tournament there imo.
