Found this sweet picture of a Dervish in (what appears to be) black dyed clothing. He/she looks pretty wicked. I am definantly going to dye my Dervish's clothes black .

nice, where did you find it?

(reminds me of some grim reaper fighting luxons because they are too colorful)

Truthfully that makes me think that outfit belongs to some npc in the storyline.

That is certainly a very reaperish incarnation of the Dervish. Gorgeous, even if a little stereotyped. Yumminess. I wonder if we should have a common screenshot thread for Dervishes. We are going to need one for armour+dye combos anyway.

This (http://eu.guildwars.com/images/screenshots/CORSIARS077.jpg) is for the moment my favourite female Dervish armor, but the male one linked above looks even better than that. I liked how this one (http://eu.guildwars.com/images/screenshots/gw060.jpg) ends, at the bottom - those little pointed things look rather nice - but I'm not fond of that body piece.

I wish the female Dervishes had a real hood, like the males have.

How come the non-American GW sites always have much more stuff, in this case screenshots, than the American one?

Looks pretty badass. I'm anxious to see what FoW Dervish looks like! I think I'd like to have something with a little more detail.

Actually, both those armors are exactly the same armor. The only difference is that one's dyed red instead of blue, and is missing the hood.

What gets me about this screenshot is that he looks like he's wearing a mask. Must not be a player character.

The chest piece is definately different.

The thing Im loving about the Dervishes is that battle stance they have in each of the screen shots.

Well, one view is from the back, the other is from the front. If we could see the front or back view of both, we'd know for sure, but since we don't, I'm just extrapolating from what we can see.

We can see that the dervishes in both pictures are wearing the same skirt, and that the bodice is the same color. I'm willing to wager that the differences between the two come from the hood and gloves (the gloves in both pictures are different types as well).

Well, the gloves are different, as you have said - that's noticeable when you see how the red ones have the hand and the lower part of the arm dyed, while the blue has the opposite scheme.

The body piece...Granted, we can't see both front or both backs. But notice how the red piece doesn't cover the shoulders, while the blue one does, plus the red one has strings (straps?), leaving the arms free, while the blue one works more like a t-shirt, going to the arms. While it could be a variation thanks to the angle, it would be a weird armor to have a front so different from the back.

And the skirt...Look underwater at the red picture. While that could be thanks to the weird effects that happen underwater, the red skirt has a straight bottom, while the blue one ends with spikes. Other than that they do look the same.

Maybe this particular armor type has a mask attatched to the hood. Having something different doesn't automatically make it NPC.

There is just a bit sticking out of the water (the one in red) and you see that it does end in spikes.

The shoulder pads could just be from the hood. Guess well have to wait until the 22nd.

I definetly think the skirts in the two pictures are the same.

The bangles drooping from the skirts are the same, and the skirt's belt is the same.
