I was exploring a few cm southwest of the Basalt Grotto and came upon...

I think he means that it has same skin as the Platinum blade in Factions dropped from the Warrior construct (also same stats i think, but can be wrong- not sure about the blade stats)

But Imo the spear looks ugly, from how the picture is taken, it looks like it is just the blade with a loong stick on it :wink:

Haha, Nemesis is a song by the band Shriekback. I just noticed as it popped up on my keyboard through winamp as I was reading this thread.

Plat weapons in Cantha are not always green. In this case Anet probably decided that since they had already created a line of platinum weapons, then it would only make sense that THE Platinum Spear should share the same texture.

the spear is pimping get over it, just because some of you want little rainbow spears dosen't mean it's gonna happen. Just go with the flow, and be happy with a cool looking zealous 15^50 spear.

hmm I cant seem to find a mob called Shriekback Nemesis. I just know Ardeh the Vigorous in the spot you mentioned.

Mind giving me a little hint?

easy,
1.) The "+"s aren't the same as the really green items' "+".
2.) There is a space between the "+" and "15%" in which other greens don't have a space.
3.) Funny boss name; Shriekback Nemesis. ANET couldn't rename such boss with that name.
Nice try, very detailed, loks very realistic also but those tiny parts and you might get discovered. ^^

You are right, I found another thing. The font is different than that from Guild Wars, the letters are fat compared to those on green weapon descriptions.

I was going to reply that I'm sad about the lack of faith we have in each other thinking we put photoshopped pictures on here. But after comparing some green weapon pics on the forum, I also see these differences. Not to mention that all other green pics on the forum are the same, and do not show a weird font, +'s and name.

Next question: What's the fun of putting a photoshopped image on here?!

This font is the same as the Guild Wars font and it is "Friz Quadrata TT"

The width of letters is just me being lazy with the Character options in photoshop! I guess its a gg :(

It took about 10 minutes...and was much more enjoyable than spending 10 minutes in courtyard or hall of heroes, for example.
