Two skills in the leadership line give attack speed boosts.. Soldiers Fury gives a 33% and aggressive refrain gives 25%. If you combine them and something like frenzy, you have an attack speed increased by 33 +33 +25 =91% and some pretty heavy DPS when combined with a decent set of attack skills. I'm yet to get nightfall so im not familiar with paragon attack skills yet, but im sure somehow an extremely good offensive build can be made out of this combination.. any ideas?

Yeah I guess 91% IAS would be a bit overpowered. If wielding a sword, the almost twice as fast normal attacks would be like using sun and moon slash every attack at normal attack speed. Kinda rediculous.

And I'd have to add, even if it weren't capped, they'd probably give it diminishing returns. But yeah, it's capped at 33% : Imagine a hammer war with 91% IAS.

actually 91% IAS means that sword will swing around oh 10x as fast. Not twice.

Yep. IAS is actually a value that's subtracted from the swing time, not something that's added to attacks/sec. Thus, 33% IAS = 100% - 33% = 66% swing time, which is 150% the attacks/sec. 91% IAS would be 100% - 91% = 9% swing time, or 1111% attacks/sec.

Would the game even have time to show the attack before it entered the next one? jesus, thats fast.

Imagine a P/A with 12 DM and 91% IAS.. The double strikes along with 11 attacks per second.. thats something like 15 attacks per second. An average dagger attack hits for around 10-12? lol.. daggers doing 165 DPS, Haaaah.

And that's NOT counting skills. Imagine if somebody was running, then your DPS shoots WAY up. Then again, they'd be dead before they ran very far.

lol that would be amazing
