fow run?

The time has come; my mesmer needs a mini-skirt.

Do we think there's a reasonable chance we could plan a guild Fissure forgemaster run in the near future for a time when the US typically has favor? (tho I suppose temporarily moving the acct to europe wouldn't be the end of the world)

give me a call when u want this done me and some of the guildies went last saturday and had a blast i usually do fow at least once or twice a week
and the 2 guild monks we had were the best ones i ever had when in fow
and thanks to raz orick drarra landar sheena (sorry i 4got the other guildies name i think it was pan that was with us ) for coming with me,im pretty sure we can meet up in international dist when america as favor

I had a grand time in FOW this weekend. I would enjoy going with another guild group.

I've actually gone into the Underworld more than the Fissure, but I totally enjoy the amount of stuff there is to do in those areas. I'd be up for a run in either instance whenever you all have the urge to do it.

Also, maybe sometime we could go into Sorrow's Furnace as well. I have only been in there once, and as I understand it, it's much much bigger than the Underworld or the Fissure of Woe, and I would also be up for some burnination there. :grin:

I think the UW is bigger that SF, but I could be wrong. SF's looks big until you get into it, and realize it's just a lot of passages to nothing. It is an amazing place to explore though. Probably one of the most unique and detailed places in Guild Wars.

Hrm... US has favor wayy to late for me then it used to (due to heroes being allowed in HA, thus all the 1k Europeans go solo or with 2 man, creating even more Europeans!). But yeah... if you ever want to just say so in game in the guild chat! I'll see what I can do, since I haven't been in FOW in ages.... (heh Temple of Ages... lol).

Sorrow's Furnance is readily accessible though. And for most missions in it, if you die, you don't get sent back to the outpost, although a few do include that.

only bad thing with sf now is that boss'es rarely drop now,did it 4 times and out of those 4 runs only 3 boss'es dropped thier weapon and i have yet to get dragos non vamp bow or rago's wand but yeah it is a fun place to 5man it

I'd like to go. I hear there's good money in FoW runs. (Not as much as in FoW farming, obviously, but you gotta walk before you can run...)

We just do a 6 man trip down there about 3 days ago. FUN TIME and lot of rebirth.:laugh:

fow is something i love to do same with sf so whenever any guild member wants to head in there u can count on me to be by your side in fow.now underworld is a different storie since my war for some reason sucks in uw but for that i just bring ele ranger or necro,and i dont mind putting the winter
wonderland on hold so whenever u want to do the trek across the snow just let me know

I'd like to do FoW tonite, but it would probably have to be more like 9PM CST so can try to get some homework done:brainiac: . I think my necro is the only character who has access in both prophesies and factions (my assassin might have access in factions, but I'm not sure he'd fit in well in a FoW run). Besides, it's always a pleasure providing my services as a SS necro :grin: .

Yeah, thanks to all who came. We had good tanking, nuking, and VERY good healing, and got a decent number of shards to boot!

And yes, I just got the skirt. It's the only piece of FoW armor I was really into, which is good because I'm out of ecto and would rather play through NF than farm it.

beat that sucka all the shards u got wont compare to my precious..anyways
i need to save up since eye now wants the fow top so there will be several trips to uw and for for me coming up plus some sorrows furnice i still want that drago's bow for my aerith <ponder's> maybe i'll hit up a 5man in sf
i might go into b/p or maybe take eye and raise the dead like she loves to:cloud9:

btw shards are only like 2.2k last time i checked, so not over dramtatic. they used to be 4k+. and yeah, i got a nice purp chaos axe that i use for koss now hehehe. i think 4 chaos axes dropped that run..
we should have more events like this! the 5 man SF run or another fow run sounds tight!

Maybe next time as a guild we should agree that everybody gets 1 shard/ecto/green/donut/whatever before anybody gets two. That's what my friends and I do when we farm ecto, tho admitedly it's easier to keep track of who's turn it is when there's only 2 or 3 of us.

grrr i wish fow armor wasnt so damn expensive in terms of ecto and shards
since now i have been wantin to get it for my necro and have a way's to go
i might just start off with the legs and arms since they will cost alittle less
and just buy ecto and shards tlittle buy little for the chest and pants
